Khansa will pursue a Masters from Oxford University under the Maria Rhode Scholarship. Her master's degree will be in the field of policymaking and social assessment. She considers this scholarship an honor for her.


"I myself am physically deficient, blind, and I have the experience of living in a society where everyone's needs are not taken care of," Khansa said. It is my responsibility to try as much as I can to improve the conditions of my community or at least to do something for people with physical disabilities like myself in the future through my experiences and abilities. ”

Khansa Maria says she and students like her have access to all the facilities at Georgetown University's Qatar campus that are provided to people with physical disabilities under US law. Khansa Maria has also worked at the US Embassy in Qatar. In addition to her bachelor's degree in foreign service from Georgetown University's Qatar campus, she also participates in the activities of the university's Debating Society, South Asian Society, Leadership Pathway and other organizations.
