Eat Mushrooms and Get Rid of Cancer
Pennsylvania: The good news about mushrooms in recent days is that they keep the brain healthy and now it has been revealed that their regular use can prevent many types of cancer attacks.
That's why experts are emphasizing the importance of mushrooms in salads and other foods, as it can reduce the risk of cancer by up to 45%. The study, by scientists at Pennsylvania State University, was published March 16 in the journal Advances in Nutrition.
For this, 17 important research studies on cancer published from 1966 to 2020 have been reviewed. It includes data on 19,500 patients. Experts have tried to find a link between cancer and mushroom eating.
Mushrooms contain vitamins, nutrients, and a variety of antioxidants that all work together to prevent cancer. White-button, creamy and portable mushrooms are rich in useful amino acid, ergothioneine.
People who ate these three types of mushrooms now had a much lower risk of cancer. Doctors recommend eating 18 grams of mushrooms a day, which is equivalent to a quarter cup. The only cancer-fighting ingredient in them is ergotine.
John Richie, of the Pennsylvania State Cancer Institute, says: The risk of cancer can be reduced by 40 to 45%.
Mushroom and Its Importance

There are 56 edible types of mushrooms in Pakistan, including four in Balochistan, three in Sindh, five in Punjab, and 44 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Azad Kashmir. The four most popular types of mushrooms are called Button or European mushrooms, Japanese mushrooms, Chinese mushrooms, and Oyster mushrooms. High-quality oyster mushrooms are available in Pakistan, which is further classified as white, golden, gray, and pink oyster mushrooms. These varieties are grown throughout the country and are usually available after the monsoon.
