Saudi Arabia has Increased Travel Restrictions on Several Countries, Including Pakistan
KARACHI: As the third wave of coronavirus intensifies, Saudi Arabia has increased travel bans on several countries, including Pakistan, and barred their citizens from entering Saudi Arabia.
The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GAGA) has issued a new travel guideline notification stating that temporary travel bans have been imposed on India, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, and Indonesia, the European Union and Switzerland, including Pakistan. Passengers from all countries are barred from entering Saudi Arabia.
According to the notification, Saudi nationals in these countries have been given 72 hours to return home as soon as possible. Meanwhile, Saudi residents have also been given 72 hours to return to Saudi Arabia.
