World's Largest Medal Emirati School Sets World Record
UAE: A school in Abu Dhabi has set a new world record by making the world's largest Medal on the 50th anniversary of the founding of the UAE, which has also been confirmed by the Guinness World Records.
According to reports, the medal weighs 4,850 pounds and covers an area of 63.93 square feet. That is, it is about 9 feet wide.
It has been co-produced by students and teachers of the International Indian School in Abu Dhabi.
Earlier, the record for the world's largest medal was set in March 2021 by Dr. Obaid Al-Kutabi of the United Arab Emirates. The medal weighed 151 pounds and covered an area of 27.6 square feet.
The medal, which set a new world record for the largest medal, is three times bigger and weighs about 35 times.
According to the Guinness Book of World Records, both medals are gold-plated.
Abu Dhabi's name and reflections of famous places are also inscribed on the medal of the International Indian School. Just like any other gold medal.
Guinness World Records representatives inspected the medal and confirmed that all the necessary conditions have been met in its preparation. After which in a short ceremony the teachers and students of the school were jointly awarded certificates for this medal.
