British MP calls for legislation to punish blasphemy against Islam
LONDON: Naz Shah, a member of the British Assembly, has demanded that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) be punished for his insolence in Parliament during the legislation against the desecration of statues of former kings and queens.
According to the International News Agency, during the protest against the discovery of thousands of graves of children of ancient indigenous people from former boarding schools in Canada, the demonstrators demolished the statues of British kings and queens and found lime on them.
The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson has termed this act as desecration of statues, after which a law has been introduced in the Parliament for the punishment of humiliation and destruction of statues of kings and queens.
On this occasion, Naz Shah, a female member of the Muslim Assembly, in a very passionate and passionate speech raised the issue of the sanctity of the last Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and demanded that not only kings or queens but also our Prophet be punished for his insolence. Make a law.
Addressing the British members, Naz Shah said that our prophets are more dear to us than the way you love the statues of your kings. Therefore, keeping in mind our feelings, the blasphemous sketches that are being published again and again in Europe should be stopped.
Naz Shah from the Labor Party added that some people say on the sketches that it is just a cartoon, so I also say that those who were humiliated in Canada were only idols made of clay, mud, and iron. Neither the king nor the queen is alive.
On the occasion, Naz Shah quoted well-known author and playwright George Bernard Shaw as saying that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was the most notable person to ever set foot on earth who practiced a religion. Preached, founded a state, used the code of ethics, initiated numerous social and political reforms, established a powerful and dynamic society to follow his teachings and the whole world for the time to come. I revolutionized human thought and action.
MP Naz Shah raised the question that legislation will be passed to hurt 2 billion Muslims? When nothing will be said against our beloved being, when will the heartache and pain we feel be remedied? Remember that a Muslim puts his prophet before his life, wealth and honor.
