Jharkhand: In India, a businessman bought a dozen mangoes for Rs 1.5 lakh from a student who sold fruits for online classes and collected money for mobile phones.
According to Indian media, an 11-year-old student in the Jamshedpur area of Jharkhand needed a smart mobile phone to take online classes, but her parents could not afford to buy a mobile phone, so the girl decided to sell fruit to meet her needs.
Tulsi Kumari, a fifth-grade student, started selling fruits, but the proceeds were spent on household rations, which raised fears that the girl would not be able to continue her education, and she became frustrated and sad.
This story of Tulsi Kumari was viralised on social media by a journalist who was read by a businessman from Mumbai and sent a large sum of money to Tulsi. However, Tulsi stipulated to buy fruits instead of aid on which the businessman paid Rs. Buy a dozen mangoes.
The determined Tulsi Kumari's mother thanked the businessman and said that with these 120,000 rupees she would buy a smartphone and other educational materials for Tulsi.
